Business Unit Financial Managers | Children's Hospital of Philadelphia | Philadelphia, PA The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is ranked as America's best hospital for children by U.S. News & World Report and Child magazine. Responsible for managing the finances of operational areas/business units of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, you will communicate accurate and timely financial data to department heads, directors, and vice presidents as well as provide proactive financial advice and planning. Additionally, you will implement standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and generally accepted accounting principles, train business unit staff and other stakeholders, and provide knowledge transfer back to corporate finance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting along with a minimum of 3 years prior experience in providing financial management service in an academic research/hospital environment. Supervisory experience required as well as demonstrated track record in a front-line service oriented position involving extensive customer contact and relationship building.
